This is an important school fundraiser because all the money raised, stays right here at the school. 

This year’s marathon is on bikes, roller blades, running, jogging or walking; cleaning the trails as we stroll along the 2.5 stretch of the Wrenshall trail.  We will meet at the Munger trail shelter in Carlton, the event will start at 9 am and continue until noon, or until you have completed your obligation.  Our local chapter of the Knights of Columbus will be providing security along the trail, at the railroad crossing and providing us with refreshments.  

 

Students work to obtain pledges from family, friends and neighbors. Parents can ask about corporate matching on fundraisers. Our schools goal is $6,000.  Goal sheets are hung in each classroom to track progress.  If the classroom goal is reached children are treated to a bowling at Southgate Bowl on a planned afternoon outing.  Grand prizes are awarded to two top pledge earners; one for the individual including corporate match and one without a corporate match.
